Year 9 students were treated to an explosive chemistry lesson last Friday 13th July.

Dr Hayman lead a series of loud and exciting chemistry experiments that students took great delight in! The excitement even attracted the attention of other nearby teachers!

 

Year 9 students were investigating the 'Reactivity Series of Metals' and finding that Magnesium is highly reactive.

 

Dr Hayman demonstrated why you should never put a chip pan fire out with water!
