Assessment

At Westcliff High School for Girls, we believe that the purpose of assessment is to identify whether or not the intended curriculum has been learned and to support us, as staff, to plan to meet the needs of all students in order that they can make exceptional progress.  In our view, the best and most effective school assessment systems are clear, consistent and coherent - and can be readily understood by students, staff and parents/carers.
