SETSA LogoSouth Essex Training and Support Alliance (SETSA) aims to support local schools by delivering bespoke training and leadership programmes and helping to recruit and retain high quality teaching staff.

We also lead the high performance Southend Essex & Thurrock Science Leaning Partnership and the London & Essex Computing Hub.

Our vision is for:

  • Schools working with each other - to train and attract the best teachers to Southend Schools;
  • Schools trusting each other - to support areas of concern and share areas of success;
  • Schools making a commitment to each other - which is sustained and developed over time.

We aim to provide the very best education for all students and schools within the Alliance.
