Welcome to Westcliff High School for Girls. I hope that you will find this web site a helpful introduction to our school. Students at Westcliff High School for Girls are very happy and highly successful. We have an excellent staff who support the students in all their learning and extra-curricular activities. We aim to make this a friendly school and one which provides an encouraging environment in which pupils can pursue a diverse range of activities. In September 2003 we became the only girls' school in the country to gain Science and Engineering status; this will provide many unique opportunities for the students here. We pride ourselves on the success this school has achieved while still being able to provide an excellent range of other opportunities for our students. The Open Evening for prospective Year 7 pupils will be held on Thursday 30th September 2010, 5.45 to 9.00 pm, and the Open Evening for our Sixth Form will take place on Tuesday 9th November 2010, 7.00 to 9.00 pm, appointments are not necessary.
